Hello and welcome! Have done a 220 mile round trip in my RZ 300e with 18 inch wheels. Keeping it to no more than 65 mph and using adaptive cruise control, I was getting in the low 4 miles/kwH range for that trip. Admittedly was hypermiling at times, drafting behind trucks and going even slower at times behind slower cars. Also didn’t really use HVAC that much.
So with a RZ 450e on 20 inch wheels and assuming use of HVAC, 3.5 doesn’t sound bad.
As far as squeezing out range, driving in ECO mode, limiting HVAC use, and if possible, setting max speed at 65 mph and always using adaptive cruise control should achieve maximum results on longer trips.
At this point, 2500 miles into my RZ and sitting at 4.2 miles/kWH with good mix of local and highway driving. While I hypermile when driving myself, my wife does not and drives it consistently above 70 mph. Even when I don’t hypermile and drive over 65 mph, happy to see the 4.2 remains rock solid and gauge showing 260 after full charge although I estimate I can get 260-300 between charges.
