So I stumbled across an intriguing article that suggests Toyota putting Lexus in the spotlight as their EV tech playground. Smart move, huh? Lexus can charge a premium, we know that, so it’s the perfect spot to debut the snazzy new tech. It's probably a publicity stunt. Instead of developing their own battery plant, I would buy batteries from other companies. Making batteries is difficult, and poor quality batteries can have serious consequences. Investing in a new battery plant carries significant risk.
