Precondition the Lexus RZ While Plugged In?

I’m trying to figure out if I can preheat or precool my Lexus RZ while it’s still plugged in. I know some other EVs can totally do this, but the RZ manual isn’t helping me out at all. Anyone out there tried this? Does it actually work? Let’s get to the bottom of it!

I’ve preconditioned my RZ while plugged in, and it works great! The trick is to use the Lexus app, it lets you set the climate before driving so you don’t lose range. Just make sure the charger is active, and it’ll pull power directly from the outlet. Super handy for hot or cold mornings!

I use the app too, but man, it's not always the most reliable. It said the car was heating up and charging again since it was still plugged in. But honestly, I don’t fully trust it. It struggles to give me accurate, real-time info, especially when it comes to charging.
