I'm really curious about the differences between the Lexus RZ 300e and 450 models. I’ve got the 300e, but I’m wondering what I might be missing with the 450. Has anyone here compared the two? What are the big performance and feature differences?

The first difference is the Direct4 4-wheel drive. Second, it doesn't have a front motor. Third, less power and acceleration (7.4s not 5s). These are the biggest differences. Congrats on the new car though.

So the 450e has a more powerful dual-motor setup, that means better acceleration and range compared to the 300e. It also includes more premium features like upgraded interior materials and additional tech options...

My son is pleased with his new car, but he finds the ride a bit harsher than his previous 450e. He thinks the higher tire pressure from the factory is a contributing factor. While he wouldn't mind the extra horsepower, he values range and a comfortable ride more, especially since he mostly uses the car for short trips with his girlfriend. That said, it still has plenty of pep for everyday driving.

The rear seats fold down almost completely flat, which came in handy during his recent Ikea run. He was able to fit some bulky boxes in the trunk without any problems, even with the slight slope where the seats fold. He do think the RX might offer slightly more cargo space overall

Do you want to switch to 450?
