RZ450e Charging history issues

I recently noticed that while DC charging, it takes multiple attempts to complete the charge, and the Lexus app frequently doesn't show the second charging session. Is this a timeout issue or something else, and has anyone else experienced similar problems? Could it be a software bug?

I’m in the same boat as you. I hit up the Lexus dealer about this, but crickets so far.

It sounds like the DC fast charger might be timing out if the handshake between the charger and your car isn’t perfect. Do you notice any specific error messages on the charger screen or in the app? Sometimes unplugging and plugging back in at a slightly different angle can help (sounds silly, but it works).

My son's car kept giving him charging headaches. The dealer basically ignored him at first, but eventually, they admitted their own demo cars had the same problem. It took a ridiculous three months for them to finally fix it by replacing the charging socket. Thankfully, it's working fine now, but the whole experience was incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.

I've had this happen a bunch too. At those fast chargers, I usually have to start and stop charging like twice because they only let you use them for an hour. And the worst part? The Lexus app doesn't even show me that I'm charging again after the first hour. It's super annoying!
