Why can't I keep Regen on all the time?

Why do I have to turn on regen braking every time I get in my car? It's annoying! Is there any way to make it default to on?

I love using one-pedal driving, but having to fiddle with the settings every time I start the car is a major pain.

Afaik, once in drive mode and moving the car, you can activate regen braking by adjusting the paddle shift.

Nothing we can do about it right now. Dealership said there's no option to change the default and once you go into drive, you can activate the regen brake with paddle shifter. That's the only workaround available.
