Annoying reverse beep

My car starts beeping like crazy when I put it in reverse. It's driving me nuts! Has anyone found a way to turn off or at least reduce this obnoxious beeping? I'm starting to think about duct taping my speakers shut! Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated.

You can let your dealer turn it off.

Unfortunately, a lot of newer vehicles, especially EVs, have these for safety reasons, and automakers don’t always let you disable them. That said, some owners have had success tweaking the volume through hidden dealer menus or diagnostic tools like Techstream.

When we got our RZ, the dealer’s tech guy casually hopped in with his laptop, connected it to the car, and turned off the reverse beep, no questions asked. Now, shifting into reverse is totally silent bliss!
