I'm eyeing a used Lexus RZ 450e and diving headfirst into some reviews to help me figure it out. So, I stumbled upon this review saying you can’t warm up the battery before charging, even if you’ve got the sat nav working its magic. They’re saying this makes charging super slow in cold weather and on long trips. Is that actually the case, or is it just a load of nonsense?

I recently drove 220 miles at a constant speed, achieving 3.2 miles per kilowatt-hour and an indicated range of 210 miles. I occasionally used the heater, but only in Eco mode

Hey, I tried driving it for a while to heat it up before charging, but I haven't really noticed much of a diffference. It seems like the outside temperature makes a big difference. I've found that it charges faster when it's around 40 degrees compard to when it's below 30 degrees.
